This page provides a link to the Refugee Caselaw Site hosted by The University of Michigan Law School.

Refugee Case Law currently collects, indexes and publishes selected court decisions that interpret the legal definition of a 'refugee'.   It presently contains cases from the highest national courts of Australia, Canada, Germany, New Zealand, Switzerland, the United Kingdom and the United States.  Leading cases are being added from Austria, Belarus, Belgium, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Greece, Hong Kong, Hungary, India, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Korea, the Netherlands, South Africa, Spain and Turkey.

Cases for this site are indexed by Professor James Hathaway of the University of Michigan Law School and by Professor Walter Kälin of the Institute of Public Law of the Faculty of Law, University of Bern.
